Happy Halloween
I am so excited for Halloween! It is one of my favorite times of year. This year dh wants Clark to be He-Man and he will go as Battlecat...not sure exactly how I am going to do that!

SM Birthday Blog Train!!
Welcome to stop #16 on the ScrapMatters Birthday Blog Train! You've just stopped in the suburbs of Chicago where you’ll enjoy great food, fantastic sights and a magnificent mile or two!
One of my not-so-favorite birthday memories was when I turned 4 or maybe 5. The age isn’t really as important as what my parents did to me! The day was beautiful. Most of the party was outside on the front lawn. We played Duck, Duck, Goose and Hot Watermelon (It’s a lot more fun to watch little kids pass a watermelon than a potato!). I might even call it a perfect birthday until…the gorilla. My parents thought that it would be nice to surprise me by hiring a man dressed in a gorilla suit to bring me balloons. I was terrified. Literally. I stayed in the house and wouldn’t have anything to do with the gorilla! I didn’t mind the balloons, but the gorilla had to go.
