GiveAway Monday!!

Happy Monday! Wait, did those words actually come out of my mouth? Happy? Monday? Really? Well, I guess it actually is! I have a freebie for you today! I suppose I should introduce myself to you first. My name is Shannon, and I'm a newbie to Plum Dumpling's CT. I'm thrilled to be here and I'm even more thrilled to give you your freebie.

I used the fabulous kit - Black and Blue by Plum Dumpling and Stolen Moments. You've seen it right? It is the best kit out there for all of those bumps and bruises - not to mention any illness our kids are always picking up.

Here is a layout I did with it:
So now that you've seen what I did with this kit, how about your freebie?

It seems like the image doesn't want to link! Sorry about that! Here it is!

Inspiration all around us...

Red, Yellow, Orange. The colors of fall are starting to surround us, and I totally loving it. This is one of my most favorite times of year. The football games, bonfires, cool weather. It's all fantastic.

Inspiration can be found all around us. For this weeks inspirations, take a look through your pictures and see if you've got any pics to scrap that would have you feeling fall. Use the colors of red, orange, or yellow in your layout and make it easy. Here's the layout I did with fall in mind. It just helps that Mr. Man's favorite color is orange.
Law-of-Luke

For the page above I used Mary's Terrible Two's kit, with the Funny Face alpha. Is it a bad sign that I've been using this kit for most of my favorite pages lately? Maybe not, maybe it's a bad sign that it's just so applicable right now. Happy Scrapping folks!

A Little Bit of Self-Promotion!

Hi all - Mary here! I have another blog...a sort of crafting, do-it-yourself, cooking, SAHM blog: Something Wilde. I'd love for you to stop by sometime!

The following is a post from that blog calling all of my friends to help me in a contest that I've entered! I figured I could ask you lovely folks too!

********
So I've entered this contest called Crafting with the Stars. I just noticed that there was a little hint on their post that a project that is viewed many times may have a better chance at winning...so....

will you hop on over here and click on my bag with a bow?!
You can see all of my competition too! There are some really cute projects out there!

Thank you, thank you!!

Inspiration Wednesday!

Happy Hump Day digi-land! Melanie here bringing you a little bit of inspiration for you scrapping routine. I've been hearing so many people tell me that they're mojo has left for a little vacay and they are anxiously awaiting it's return. I know the feeling! Right after Queen of Scrap back in May, my mojo literally ran.a.way. Of course the early days of pregnancy probably had something to do with that too. Either way, I was glad when we were finally reunited around the end of August. I've been scrapping like crazy and loving it!

Now I don't know what's got so many people in a scrapping slump lately, but I know a good way to get me back on my scrappy feet is a fabulous template. I {heart} templates. I seldom go without templates and have a huge stash of them on my EHD. I also like to make them from my own layouts. So I decided that's what I would do today for your inspiration. I put this layout together of my two goofy kids. These two keep me on my toes all the time, but they're my heart! After I finished the layout I realized how great it would be as a template, so I turned it into one and I've already used it a couple more times!

Here's the template I put together for you and my layout using Family Fun.

So if you've been in a bit of slump lately or if you're like me and always on the look-out for a new template, just click the preview to download. Enjoy and have a great rest of the week!

Announcing the new Dumpling Gang!!

So...since there seems to be some virus going around the digi-scrapping forums all over, Mary wanted me to post the NEW Dumpling Gang here while we wait to get the all clear for the forums!! For those who have been anticipating...here we go...

Thanks to everyone for their patience as you awaited to hear from Mary...her computer broke down and she is using a SUPER slow old laptop that she can only email from, so this announcement has been a little slower than usual! Thanks!

This new CT is going to ROCK Mary's kits!! Can't wait to see what they come up with!!! Congrats to everyone!!
