A "Black & Blue" QP for your stories.

Happy Wednesday to you all!

Accident's happen, whether we like it or not. A scraped knee, a bumped head, a broken bone. Or maybe someone ends up in the hospital for one reason or another. Even though none of these instances are fun and we may not want to remember them, they are a part of our lives and we should not hesitate to write them down no matter how big or small it happens to be. And Mary's recent collab kit with Stolem Moments Designs, Black & Blue, is perfect for these moments.

Recdently my son had to be admitted overnight at the hospital for a test. He considered it a treat since he didn't have to go to school for two days, even though there was homework to do. So here is the page that I created of the stay:

Now I understand not all stories will be easy to scrap about, so to start you on your way I've created a Quick Page for you to get you started. You can use it as it is or even add more photos and journaling spaces, if you'd like. And don't worry if it takes you time to get the story told, either. It's the memory that counts.

Here's your page (image is linked):

Enjoy -

Unfortunately, I think we ALL have photos of this sort to scrap...bumps and bruises are inevitable. But at least your memories can be cute, right?!

I decided on a journal page of the timeline of Jason's week in ICU last fall. I can't believe it has almost been a year since he had surgery. Time sure does fly and a lot has happened since then!

And here are some LOs from the CT...

Happy Wednesday!!

Happy Wednesday to All of You! Heidi here for another Inspiration Wednesday! My inspiration comes this week as we just celebrated another 9/11 here in the states. Our church decided to participate in our National Day of Service held this year on 9/11. I was inspired by all the wonderful people who just wanted to do a little more! I have learned a lot through this experience and hope that I can be a better person because of their example. I hope you have met one of these people in your life because they are amazing!

Bit of Inspiration: Scrapping the bonds

Megg here with this weeks inspiration. I've been working on my little boys book a lot lately, just because his second birthday is coming up. I've been blown away by all the people that are in his life that make him feel so loved. One special person is his grandpa. He gave his first smiles to my dad. He has ALWAYS loved my dad. So this page was inspired by that silly, fun kinda love that they have for one another. He's always so fun for my little man to hold on to, wrestle with, steal snuggles from. I love to see my kids bonding with their grandparents. So here's some inspiration from me using Funny Face by Mary. Click on the layout below for credits. Happy Scrapping folks!

Luke-&-Grandpa

You Inspiration Mission should you choose to accept it:
Scrap a bond between your subject and something fun, could be family member, friend, pet, it's limitless!!!

Happy Labor Day to everyone in the States! It's time for another Give Away Monday. And I've a little goodie for you that I've made from Mary's latest kit, Funny Face. I just love this kit for it has been perfect for me to scrap about those goofy kids of mine, and I must say that I am very partial to those fun circles in it. I am sure that you know someone who is goofy, silly, or otherwise crazy (in a good way, of course!), so here is a frame just for you. I've made it so you can use it either up or down, if you'd like.

Download here.

Have fun, be silly, and Enjoy!

Whoa...Google Reader just got BETTER!

I love Google.

I love Google Reader.

I love Google Reader Next Button.

Check out this post to find out how to get your own!
Happy Wednesday to All of You!! Have you ever had that feeling where you feel like you have no mojo? I get that a lot! But what a better way to get some mojo when you glance through fellow scrappers galleries?? I hunted through our very own MARY's gallery and found some great inspiration!! I loved how in these examples she journaled along side her photos...I also loved her clustering in the corners or down the side and her blocking...here's Mary's LOs that I got my inspiration from:

I just had to journal about this funny story...trying to capture a serious moment!

I used Mary's He's My Valentine, Dating Around, Whispers of Spring and Add-On and Chunky Metal Alpha.

So...my inspiration for the week is check out someone else's gallery and see what inspires you! Have a great week!!
