It's Nikki here with a special challenge, and a chance at a gift code for the Plum Dumpling Designs' store...
As we're all looking forward into fall, we wanted to take one last look back at summer and our favorite summer memories. We want to hear what made 2011 "one amazing summer" for you... a big or small thing that made this summer memorable. Leave a comment with your summer memory on this post to be entered for a chance at that gift certificate!
For a second entry, create a "summer memories" themed layout using Plum Dumpling Designs products--leave another comment here with a link to your layout. It can be a "summer in review" type page, like mine below, or a single special memory... and it can be from summer 2011 or any other year! Let's say "see ya next year" to summer with a celebration of summer layouts!
(I used A Photo A Day, The Open Road, I Scream, Serendipity, He's My Valentine, Family Fun, and the Adventures in Reading type alpha)
To give you a jumpstart, I created this "One Amazing Summer" postcard for you, using Mary's fabulous Vintage Postcard Creator. Just fill in your own photos or favorite summertime papers behind the letters for an eye-catching page title.
Enjoy the freebie, and we look forward to hearing your amazing summertime stories! Entries will be counted and a winner drawn on Labor Day, Monday, September 5!

As a child of the Cold War I found it interesting that we were in two countries, Hungary and the Czech Republic, that are former communist nations and countries I never expected to visit in my life time. Wow-what a memory.
Blue paws and brown paws. Twice this summer my beautiful collie Sophie has gotten into paint - once when a paintbrush inadvertently got left out during a break from painting, and the second time when she found a tube of oil paint in a box of art supplies that was waiting to be put away. Each time she gets caught, she produces such an innocent "I didn't do it" look. Of course the evidence speaks for itself.
This last summer we went to WDW again. It was the second time for my son and I'm really happy we did it as he lived Disney like a 6 yo child, totally different than last time that he was 3! Thanks for the chance to win and beautiful postcard!!!
thank you
it *HAS BEEN* ONE AMAZING SUMMER!
freebie hugs

Playing at the Splash Pad! Thanks for the chance
My daughter falling asleep before I left the parking lot after fun at the Fair with friends!
I have a fond summer memory of my daughter eating watermelon...she loved it and couldn't get enough! To this day it's her favorite fruit! Thanks for the chance!!!
We thought my daughter had an awful disease, but after waiting 10 days for test results, it came back negative. Whoo Hoo!
